A soft corduroy baseball cap made for dogs, with cut-outs so the ears sit comfortably and a curved brim that shades the eyes on bright days. An adjustable toggle under the chin keeps it in place, whether your doxie is trotting through the park or posing for their close-up.

Fit and care

●Measuring: measure around your dog's face, over the top of the head (just in front of the ears) and under the chin.
●Choosing: most miniature dachshunds wear XS or S, and most standards wear S or M. If your doxie is between sizes, or still growing, choose the larger size.
●Settling in: start with short sessions at home, with plenty of praise and treats, before the first outing.
●Cleaning: spot clean with a damp cloth and let it air dry.

FAQ

Will it stay on?+

Yes, once the chin toggle is adjusted. Pull it snug enough that the cap doesn't slip, but loose enough to fit two fingers underneath.

Will it keep my dog cool in summer?+

The brim helps shade the eyes and face, but no hat replaces shade, water and walking in the cooler parts of the day. Keep an eye on your dog in warm weather.

Will my dog tolerate it?+

Most dogs get used to it quickly, especially with short, positive sessions at home first.
